Welcome to Spelling-Lessons.com. These terms govern your use of this website and any subscription to our lessons. By using the site or subscribing, you agree to these terms.

Who we are

Spelling-Lessons.com is operated by Adam Bates ("we", "us", "our"), based in Costa Rica. You can reach us any time at adam@spelling-lessons.com.

What we provide

We create Spelling to Communicate (S2C) lesson materials for non-speaking spellers. Subscribers receive lesson PDFs by email on a regular basis, in British or US English. We also offer a selection of free sample lessons to download.

Payments and billing

Our subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record and authorised reseller for our products. When you subscribe, your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Paddle appears on your payment statement. Paddle collects and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT.

Prices are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated interval until you cancel. We may change prices for future billing periods; any change will be communicated in advance.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time using the manage/cancel link included in your emails, or by contacting us. When you cancel, you will not be charged again, and you keep access to that period's lessons until it ends.

How you may use the lessons

Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the lessons for the benefit of your own speller(s). Lessons are watermarked with your details. You agree not to share, resell, publish or redistribute them. All lesson content and materials remain our intellectual property.

No guarantees

Our lessons are educational materials provided in good faith and "as is". Every speller is different, and we cannot guarantee any particular learning outcome. Our lessons do not constitute medical, therapeutic or professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or the lessons. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Changes

We may update these terms or the service from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Payment transactions are additionally subject to the terms of Paddle.com as Merchant of Record.
